MIKE 'THE WARRIOR' WILKINSON SIGNS WITH HEAVY DUTY FIGHT MANAGEMENT.

It has been a great few weeks for Severe MMA's UK sponsor (Heavy Duty Fight Management) Team HD on many fronts. The Fight Management company are riding high off of the recent (UFC Performance Of the Night award) winning KO by Scott Askham at the recent UFC London event and the announcement of him fighting in Vegas UFC fight Week, they are also now involved with the UKMMAF's National Amateur Team with 5 of their amateurs having made the national squad:
James Harrison, Beau Gavin, Shoaib Yousaf, Mush Aslani and Warren "Tank" Warren Tank Mason - all selected to represent the UK in Las Vegas this July.

HD have started to put together an impressive roster of UK talent from the aforementioned amateurs to the BAMMA Lonsdale Lightweight ChampionMarc Diakiese and UFC veteran Scott Askham and now HD announce that they have signed no nonsense UK Featherweight ' Mike Wilkinson (9-2).
Wilkinson represents another strong signing for the team and he is excited about the prospect of a relationship with Team HD:

"I see what HD have done with Scott Askham and Marc Diakiese (both boys I train with) and I thought 'I want some of that!' I sat down with my coach,Daren Morris, and we felt that my time with other companies had left a sour taste in my mouth but that these were the right guys to get involved with, and they were in a great place to look after my best interests. They take the pressure of me having to do any little job in order to live the life of a professional fighter. It is great that they are involved with the grass roots of the fight game, it's just another way they prove their commitment to the sport as a whole!"

Mike Wilkinson is not a fighter to be shy with his opinions or call it like he see's it and if he feels that the fit is right then the partnership will definitely work well moving forward, and bearing in mind Wilkinson's recent departure from the UFC it is apparent he feels the relationship with Heavy Duty will help return him to the biggest stages in the sport.

HD's Carl Messen says "Mike is a huge signing for HD & one we are extremely pleased to land. Several of our current roster train with Mike & Head Coach Daren Morris is one of the best in the business & someone we trust to get the best out of our athletes. These are exciting times for all involved with HD & our aim s to provide the best for our athletes moving forward."

With things moving up several gears on HD's Clothing and Nutritional range's along with some BIG news on the women's gym apparel, things are looking good for the foreseeable future for Team HD.
